Does TypePaw upload my recordings?
No. Recordings, transcripts, and search terms stay on your iPhone. There is no TypePaw account or cloud sync.
Will recording still work if transcription is unavailable?
Yes. Saving and playing the audio take priority. TypePaw shows a clear transcription status without blocking the tape.
Which languages are supported?
The interface is being prepared in 12 languages. On-device transcription targets Korean, English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, French, German, and Brazilian Portuguese when the device supports the required model.
Does every device support AI liner notes?
No. Liner notes require a compatible device, Apple Intelligence availability, and a supported language. Recording, playback, transcription, and search remain separate.
